Failproof overflow box is it posible

I am wanting to add a sump to my already existing redsea max 130. Is it posible to make a hob overflow failproof?

You can greatly mitigate most if not all issues with it by simply ensuring that your return pump will run dry before your display tank overflows should the HOB overflows siphon stop or it gets clogged..

The lifereef overflows are pretty much fail proof in my experience and advertised as such.
Always restarts after a power outage.

I️ agree with d2mini, the lifereef overflows are excellent. I️ used one for years without a problem.
