pH Alarm config

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone could help me, every time my ATO kicks in my pH shoots up temporarily (less than 60 seconds) which in turn triggers the alarm, email and text from my apex. No sooner have all the alerts been triggered than the pH is back down to within a normal threshold.

Ordinarily I would put the output end of the ATO in the sump after the pH probe to avoid this very issue however due to numerous factors that just isn't an option for me (please done make me explain why, just know its not possible).

Is there a code that will work so that the alarm/alert will trigger if pH stays a certain level for longer than say 5 - 10mins? I tried the below code but it did not work:

If pH > 8.50 for 10 Then OFF
If pH < 7.70 for 10 Then OFF

After saving it just reverts back to:

If pH > 8.50 Then OFF
If pH < 7.70 Then OFF

I'm a complete noob when it comes to programming and could do with some advise. Is this even possible?

Thanks in advance
