Me too I love this hobby! I always wanted to be a marine biologist, and still may someday i find sea life so fascinating, its almost alien, I love having a bit of that in my house (as inhumane as it is sometimes like when I kill everything) lol But Ive learned and moving forward my system is going to be better for it thanks for the encouragement guys, idk where I would be without this forum lol

good to hear about the wp25. I have a 20g long and think it maybe too strong. Maybe i will wait for the wp10 nearer xmas.

Looking forward to seeing your revived tank.

Just ordered two kessil a150ws and mounting arms.... the MH T5 fixture fell off the wall when i was messing with it (i had only ofne of the supports in a stud in the wall) Im a moron lol but it got the gf on board to order some nice LEDs did some research and I liked a lot of different lights, but ppl are crazy about these kessils and there is way less i gotta worry about when it comes to dimming and such.

Btmedic04 my brother has a 20 and I think he should get ai nano awesome control features... reefersteve has a reef breeder and his tank looks amazing, they sell a small version of that too.ill post some pics once the kessils come...I'm hoping I didn't screw up by getting two 15ks, im going they will still be bright and not too dark...we like the lights in the living room. I know they are going to be very blue

Im happy, I have the feeling I'm really starting to grasp this chemistry stuff..... in the beginning i read all the stickys and i have books, and talked with people... but until I started testing every day after a crash, and dosing what I am supposed to, and testing before and after water changes, to see what effects things had on the overall chemistry of the tank water.... I really didnt get it..... but I think i am now makes me happy.

Update:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
my new UPS for the tank, got a 12v adapter and ill have the apex shut off everything but the sump pump and the heater. ill do a test run and see how long it lasts but the ups says itll last 70 mins with a monitor computer and modem, and ill be running alot less with a heater and a pump. So ill prob get close to 2 hrs out of it, and I cant remember the time we were without power longer than that.

Also the brown digi and the green ora dont look good... the green ora looked great for about a week, then started to bleach! the other little brown/purplish birdsnest that i have more towards the top and have never moved is doing just fine tho idk whats up. Ill post some pics soon.

We have a algae blenny, and a divided wrasse that are doing well, and eating mysis. but they both seem to feast on copapods all day. I really would like a fish that had the appetite my old clowns did tho, leave no food uneaten! lol

Thanks for reading
