If I had that coral growing next to your megamind, I'd be a happy camper!

I agree, it is a really nice looking acro.

I'll do some top downs soon. Just for you.

Wish I could offer you some advice. I bought the fish from a local hobbyists breaking down his tank. I didn't do anything special, just tossed him in. Hope you don't plan on adding any acans or blastos, my regal destroyed my acans when I added him. He usually leaves my acros alone, but every now and then he will nip at them. Not enough to do any damage.

I use flickr, it allows 3rd party hosting and is free. Once you upload the photo you can click on it, then click on the little arrow at the bottom right (sharing). Then in the window that comes up select "BB Code" and copy/paste the IMG tag code.

You can also select how to resize the image right from that screen.

Beautiful tank! I want to make sure those pics keep coming

What exactly does that mean that tapatalk will use my phone as a host? I used to only post pics with tapatalk, but I would get people complaining that they couldn't view my pics from a PC.
Photobucket's become a money grab. You can create a new gmail account and use google photos to post pictures. You can have up to a few gigs' worth of pics up on there. Posting is fairly easy. Right click on the photo, "copy image address", and link the photo the same way.

Flickr is an alternative, though they used to limit the amount of photos you can upload for free each week or month. I don't know about now.

New toy for my fuge. 90w Kessil H350

Got it for $80 on eBay.

If any of you watched BRS' video on which light worked best at growing chaeto, this one was the clear winner. But the main reason I am getting it is for PH. In BRS' test, the tank with the kessil had a super high PH. I'm gunna see if this makes any impact on raising the ph in my tank.

Threw together this Co2 scrubber from an old cheap media reactor I had. PH went up .1 in 30 minutes. It's def burning through the media fast. I don't see this media lasting longer than 1-2 days.

I'm looking to buy a larger reactor that can hold more medi, and I will be adding a solenoid to the inlet that will open and close depending on the ph in the tank. Hopefully I can get it to last longer this way.

This combined with my new kessil h350 should really help keep my ph more stable. . We'll see if there's any positive effects on coral growth.

Set up a dual ph scrubber. The one closer to the skimmer gets the fresh media and the second one gets the media that's half used up. Works much better as long as your skimmer can pull enough air.

Hey Nick,

Do what BRS did with a solenoid and Y splitter.

My plan is to upgrade to a very large single reactor. I want to see if it will last at least 3-4 weeks.

That's the plan. First I wanted to run this ghetto setup for a couple days or a week and see what kind of difference it makes. I will def run the solenoid like BRS did. Although my plan was to add the solenoid after the co2 scrubber. If it doesn't work as planned, than I will run it exactly how they did

You have such a nice setup and selection of corals. It's no wonder that's it appearing in a magazine. Simply outstanding!

Well cyano is growing like crazy on my sandbed. Stays away from rocks and any corals, but it's a terrible eye sore. I finally starting running gfo thinking it might help, but after testing phosphates I'm not sure it will. :/

Hannah is so inconsistent, it gave me a reading of 5 and 9. So my phosphates are between .015 and .027.

That's pretty low.. why not blast the cyano with one of the products to kill it and then run the gfo..
I'd assume the cyano is locking it all up right now..
