Dual 6040 w/ 7092.300 cable operation

Pumps are on the back wall opposite corner from each other.

Want to run inverse mode

Instructions say push food button for 5 seconds and then it says select led will blink. Select is a button not a led; so missing the indication of inverse mode.

Should the external controller button light in this mode? Shouldn't both pumps operate from one controller and the pumps alternate?

Another question: Do you need 2 power supplies one for each pump? Or does one get power through the 7092.300 cable?

Each pump needs its own power supply.

The slave pump needs to be set in external mode. You will hold the food timer button on the slave controller and the external mode light will blink indicating it is in inverse mode. The settings are then all made on the main controller and the slave pump will do the opposite, so when the main pump is on main power, the slave pump will be on pulse power.

Pressed the food timer for 5 seconds on one pump's controller and wave OK led blinks.

Am I supposed to do anything on the other pump? It also has its wave OK led blinking.

Definitely not working as I would expect. Should the leds alternate on each controller?

The second or slave pump needs to be in External mode. It sounds like both are in Wave mode. The main pump should be in wave or pulse depending on which one you want to use.

Hello Roger,

Thanks for your support. If I search through the doc I don't see how to put a pump in external mode. Ho is that done?

Thanks,

Tom

Okay, figured out pressing select will change to external control. Is that the slave?

The other pump I can get to blink the 2-10 led by holding the food button. Is this inverse mode?

Not obvious that pumps are alternating

Yes, the one in external mode is the slave. What do you have your speeds set to? One pump will be in Pulse speed and the other in Main Speed in Inverse mode. If these are far apart, 20% or off and 100% the difference will be fairly noticeable, if they are both very close like 50% and 70% you may not notice a difference visually.
