What Algae is this and how to beat it.
Hello,
I am getting plagued by a stringy type algae, not sure what type. It doesn't hold air bubbles like dinos but isn't red like cyano but I not sure so I'm looking for some expert opion. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/s/4sy1h0nqn3...82859.mp4?dl=0

From what I could tell maybe its the start of bryopsis on the sandbed. Hard to really tell from the video though.

Hardly a plague you have there...
I can barely see anything on my laptop monitor here.. Not sure on the ID.. Nothing to be concerned about from what I see and will likely pass with time..

That video was taken after I had syphoned some of my sandbed out. It reappears very quickly and is a cotton stringy type algae.
