small pink crab id
I have no picture yet, so I am just wondering if anyone will know what it is from my description. It is pink and looks like a small piece of macro algae. It has two legs counting its small cleaner shrimp like claws. Two of the claws, after the small cleaner shrimp like claws are large and very bulky, and the rest of the claws are used as legs and are rather spindly. The crab is not hairy at all. It looks like it is covered in small dull spikes. Similar shape to a decorator crab.
It's about 2-3 in. As a side note it doesn't seem very hostile, as in it would rather run then fight. It also sways in the current to look like, what I presume, algae. Anyone have any ideas. Reef safe? |

Sounds like it could be a Spider crab or maybe another type of Decorator. Take a pic and post it.
