How do you think he feed that suncoral he has in that tank, he runs a phytoplankton reactor do you think the coral feeds off of that. I ask because i haave one that is 1/10 the size and it requires so much time to feed and was wonderig if you had a tank that big the amount of time to care for that would be a full time job, if anyone has tubestra suncoral let me know how the easiest way to feed them. Plus i cant search this site for suncorals threads.

I am very interested in your pvc structure plan, although I don't see exactly what you did. Do you have a picture of this?

Fantastic tank all the praises in the world for an excellent job, My only problem is I get the feeling that this is like the European space agency competing for the X-Prize. Will next months winner be the Georgia Aquarium and if it's not, sorry for the guy who's featured next month!
I admire these Aquariums, but they represent money that is beyond the abilities of any forum member unless he is a multimillionaire.

That is some tank. Truly World Class.
A couple of questions if I may; if the sand is replaced every few weeks what quantity of sand is used to replace it and does it ever affect the water parameters changing such large quantities (I guess not too much though from the health of the stock)? Absolutely incredible. |

holy crap i never saw that sun lol Wow that thing is huge!!
I feed mine with a turkey baster after the lights go out when it opens up. I just make sure at least 60% of it eats really good and it seems to be doing good. I can't imagine how he feeds that thing, espically in a tank that huge!!

That is by far the most amazing tank yet, I mean I've seen some great tanks but the setup of that is just astounding.

Gotta have $$$ to win TOTM?
Absolutely amazing tank!
Dear RC, Why don't you have several categories of TOTMs based on gallon size? For e.g., pico of the month, nano of the month, 30g to 55g, 67g to 90g etc.? What really are the deciding factors for the TOTM? Could a nano win next month or something bigger than this month's tank? Thanks for your reply... Zoo Zoo |
