Interested in a reef tank

Hi all,

My main question about setting up a reef tank is my concern that if I put the tank in my bedroom would the fish and coral ending up stressed from the constant sounds, movement and room lighting?

Thank you!

Personally I do not like/recommend bedroom tanks...there can be some noise from tank, I don't spend much 'day time' in there, and I usually don't like to take guests/visitors into the bedroom to see the tank.

I do not think so. Most bedrooms are not occupied much during the day. They are usually used for sleeping at night. The livestock will prob be more freaked out when they do see someone.

Yeah, I kept a 75 gallons reef in my bedroom for years when I was single. But its a bad idea. The noise and moisture would drive most people nut. I would never keep a reef tank or any kind of tank in the bedroom again. Bedroom is for sleeping, keep the tank in the living room or somewhere else.
