Life Bio Fil is not made of sintered glass, it is a pomex material, pre-seeded with proprietary bacteria strain. I will be using after MACNA. It will help for tanks limited with live rock, new tanks, and existing. The material is very light and very porous.

From my understanding, it will be available in about 1 month, maybe less. Stay tuned

Thought I'd post this here.
When I re-ordered my AquarForest products, by mistake ordered Bio-S, instead of Pro Bio-S which is what I wanted. I realized this mistake after cracking open the bottle (which I thought was small). I realize that BioS is bacteria, more for start up tanks. While Pro BioS is for established tanks like mine (containing more varieties of bacteria). Is there any harm using the BioS bacteria in a established tank (Any value) ? Don't want to waste this open bottle. Thanks |

Yes you can use Bio S in established tank.
For reduce phosphate and nitrate you can buy Pro Bio S |

I'm about to add some into the phosban reactor over the weekend, since it needs low flow I can adjusted the valve from the return pump feeding it
