Many say it is peizo electric effect from ceramic capacitors..
But you could start by changing PWM frequency in the Aduino.. Only real suggestion is a mechanic stethoscope to pinpoint it.. https://product.tdk.com/en/contact/f...ric_effect.pdf |

Mean you have to pay a TON $s for that 3rdParty feature if you want your old images to re-appear. It's nothing to do with VIEWER. If you haven't noticed old image posts from past show that error message. (for Everyone) There is a hack to fix this (may not last forever), but works. Edit any Post with your image (reefcentral opened up re-editing of old posts). Was suppose to be a deadline to do this last year, but it appears the re-edit is still working). You can either replace the image from another PhotoHosting repository (like Flickr) but that's a lot of work. Or a quick fix is EDIT THE POST (Keep the PhotoBucket URL exactly like it is) and add the following to the Image URL (at the end of it [no-spaces] ) add "~original". Hit save and your image from Photobucket will re-appear. IF you are not the original Poster, but want to see an image somebody posted , but never updated (has the ERROR missing the image). (You cannot edit that post) Hit (QUOTE). IN the Quote find the URL (IMG) in that POST you just quoted and do the same (add "~original"), and hit PREVIEW . THe Image will show up. You don't have to continue with the QUOTE and save it, just snag the image you want. (and cancel out of the QUOTE Reply) Last edited by Wally.B; 01/19/2018 at 12:57 AM. |

Looking to possibly expand my lighting from 2 to 3 or 4 lumia 5.2. I have one of the boards and it works awesome, however since we can no longer get them, how would I expand the board to allow an additional set of drivers? Since everything is integrated, I'm not sure how to seperate the output from the board. For example, use the controller board for one set, then expand to a coralux board for the other LED pucks. How would I break the bluefish outputs out?

It should be possible to use the CAT5/6 output from the board to pass the PWM signals to the Coralux board.

Perfect!! Thanks for that. My next question was going to be about pinouts of the ethernet jack.

Hi,
I cannot access the write-up referred to in the post below. Can someone please re-post it? Do you know if there are the eagle files for the O2Surplus boards? Quote:

Anyone have the overall dimensions and Hole to Hole dimensions of the board? Looking to print an enclosure. Mine is going to be a bear to measure in it's current state. Even if there is an Eagle file with dimensions. Thanks.

I'd be interested in this also. I've been looking over the forum trying to find a LDD board with 5-8 slots. Possibly with the 12v add ons. I can't find any of 02surplus design files but, I did find the Rrasco's board page of LDD4 boards. I'd like something with a few more, I'll be using 350w 48v power supply.

I ended up ordering a pair from Steve's LED's. He carries both 4 and 8 slot.

I was wondering if I could get a recommendation for a power supply for my system? I have a total of 204 leds with the following ldds. None of them running at 100%
(9) 1000 (8) 700 (2) 600 (1) 400 (1) 350 I had a used meanwell rsp 1000-48 power supply that died after quite a few years of use. I bought the same as a replacement and it died after 1 month. Dont know if I got a bad unit or it is too small for my system. I would like to hear of a recommendations for either a replacement or another rsp 1000-48. Meanwell also has a se 1000-48 I thought about purchasing. thanks jeff |

204 Led should fall below 1000w. And even if you run the ldd at 48v your below a 1000w of drivers. Should be fine. Probably a bad unit or overheated.

Do you mind looking at the meanwell se 1000-48 would be ok it use. The think maybe the rsp 1000-48 has extra bells and whistles I don't need.
Thanks Jeff |

Should be fine. I'll be using multiple lrs 350w 48. They were cheapest wholesale unit I could find. also the 89% efficiency is pretty good. The lower watts have 90 and 91. kinda odd but, it basically means they're using the same size internals. I wish I could afford to use a higher efficiency power supply but, the price goes up very quickly.

Does anyone have photos of a finished DIY LED array they've made? I'm curious to see how people encase their DIY lights and protect the electronics.
