Will Trident Work With EL?

As it is contemplated, will the Trident work with Apex EL? There is a thread on the Marine Depot forum from July in re unboxing an EL system and it mentions that the EL will be compatible with Trident, but I wanted to verify straight from the hirse’s miuth. Thanks.

The problem with using trident with the apex classic is the computing power. Although the EL has fewer options than the Apex 2016, it will have the computing power to employ the trident.

The EL is just a simpler version of the 2016 apex. The full kit just includes the additional orp and salinity probes. They are still the same head unit.

They are different head units.

The EL head unit does not have the salinity and ORP PORTs. It also does not have the variable speed ports as well.
