New tank
Is there anything I'm missing I finished the plumbing Friday leak tested it yesterday started putting sand and salt water in it today

It is better to place rock in before sand . You can try to do it with sand in but sand locks it in place better .. start small ghost feedings daily while testing daily

I like the roller filter it doesn't seem to use that much I just got a bunch of fish now so we will see in a few weeks if it uses much more

You have had the tank up for less than a month and already have a tang in there. That seems a bit early...especially with no algae growing on the rocks for it to graze on. Hope you bought some Seaweed Selects or some other type of algae based food to feed it.

Patience. Good things happen slowly in a reef tank. when using dry rock it takes even longer for your tank to become stable.
