Max amount of water change / moving reef tank

I'm moving to a new house and I just wanted to know what would be max percentage of water change that I can do without affecting negatively my corrals, fish and biological filtration (beneficial bacteria)? Any thoughts? Thanks

100% but it better match the old waters parameters. You have to keep all of your rock in water so there isn't a die off.

I save as much water as I can when moving and add fresh mixed for top off without any problems! I would think 50 % is the most I would do.

When I move I look at it as an excuse to do a major cleanup/water change. If you can get enough prepared at the new place first, 75-90% is what I would aim for. Remember - most of the beneficial organisms needed for your reef to thrive live in and on the rocks and sand.

Thank you guys for your responses, this will be some mission. Hopefully everything would be fine. My last move wasn't pretty and this time I have a lot to loose. I will in fact move the house first and then the next weekend I will dedicate it just for the tank.
