I am going with 2 ATI 6x39W PM to cover my 120x120x50 cms tank.

Nice.

My new tank is waiting at the LFS: I'm just waiting to finish off a DIY project and will get the tank. After that I'll be ordering an 8x54watt LED Powermodule.

Yes, i do. Since 2 weeks i dont have any normal bleu burning. The red, white and Royal bleu are working. The other side of the leds are all burning.
I saved the ati program again in the fixture, but still the green/bleu isnt working.
Anybody knows what to do?

Not dead, but 3 of my 4 clusters flicker, and ATI North America has no idea how to fix it.

For the money these things costs that's unacceptable. Not knowing how to fix it is embarrassing for ATI.

I'm pretty sure I wrote a tutorial in this thread of how to fix that. It worked for most people that tried it. That would have been pages and pages and years ago however.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't been very active on this forum for years so I'm sure I missed that post.

Agree 100%

I now have another problem, with my T5's. I have an 8-bulb unit, and only 2 of 4 tubes on channel 1 stopped working. (New bulbs)

I searched and only found my tutorial with the software. I deleted all my PMs since my box was full and don't have the instructions now...sorry. If you talk to ATI NA again, ask them about the secret button combo to the secret menu in the control box. I don't remember it but that's where you go to change some settings. It fixed the flickering with mine and many others. Just be careful because you can mess stuff up in that menu.

Sounds like a bad ballast sadly

If it were a bad ballast, wouldn't all 4 tubes go out?

Hmm that seems odd, have you contacted ATI?

The second part of the video is the system I had but that was 2.5 years ago. That is the button combo I was thinking of though.

I thought there were more settings but I'm going off memory. I really wish I didn't delete my PMs because I had the whole instruction set in there.

Ah ok, so I have 4 ballasts. I had assumed that there were 2 ballasts, 1 for each channel. I'm having flashbacks of my original powermodule (non-LED) fixture that also had a ballast go out. Swapping the ballasts is a royal pain. Well, swapping them is not hard, getting all the wires tucked in nicely so the ballast can slide back in is the hard part.

I never did because I was and am still so frustrated by their inability to fix my flickering LED clusters.

Follow that video above and make sure everything is correct on your box. I thought there were other settings as well
