What is Vertex IN-100's actual footprint?
Can someone tell me the actual footprint of a Vertex IN 100 skimmer. In reading reviews it ranges anywhere from 8" x 10" to 11" x 13". I would like to put this skimmer in my sump which has a skimmer section measuring 8.25" x 10.5".
Thanks! |

I installed my IN-100 in a 10.75" x 10.75" section of my sump. I can shove it all the way to one side and there is about 1" of space. Still that's 9.75" x 10.75" so I don't know if you are going to make it. Great skimmer though.

Thanks for your response, that was exactly the info I was looking for.
I have sadly given up on trying the Vertex IN-100, as it will simply not fit in my skimmer compartment. Am now torn between my second choices: Reef Octopus Extreme 160, Reef Octopus NW110, and possibly a Bubble Magus NAC6. (This is for a 90 gallon system) |
