Anemone whisperer needed
3 weeks ago my rose tip retreated back in the crack he lives in. He’s got good color but barely pokes out during the day or night. Tank water specs are perfect. Using Hanna testers. Everything else is doing great. Was feeding him few times a week, he is hosted by a clown who misses him very much. My phosphates did rise a month ago but quickly corrected that. I did upgrade to the new 300 watt. 48” razor maxspect led light. Great light by the way. But I carefully started low and increased it over time to its preset lps setting. No idea what’s going on. I don’t think he’s sick. His color looks really good. Any ideas.

The phos bump times well w/ it's move, but lights could still also be an issue, also curious what you are feeding.
Since it has color and good light, it probably did not even need feeding, and too much/often can actually stress them. Since it's hiding from light now, you may need to spot, but just twice a week, and just squirt mysis towards it. You may also want to screen cover to block some light in it's general area, it may still be adjusting depending on what it came from Obviously continue working on phos Good luck w/ it! pssp pppssspp ppssspp...that was the whisper part ...

Still hiding
My bubble tip is still hiding. It’s been at least a month or more, all water readings are great and have been for while. Still good color, he does poke out a little here n there but 10% at most. Stays in between his rock crack. I’m at a loss. Tried feeding him a little but no change. I feed a 1/4 cube of brine shrimp in evening to general tank stock and the host clown always takes food back to him. Up till a month ago he was out so much it looked like he was splitting. I’m at a loss. Seems like he would be used to,light by now. Any suggestions.

don't change the light setting, otherwise, once it finds the spot and you change setting it might move again. just set the light to normal, it will find its own spot. keep one thing in mind, no animal is set out to die, so when it's good and ready it will come out. just give it time. is this your first bta?

Yes but I’ve had it for a year. It’s been out everyday. Weird.
