Upgrading my skimmer

I have a 60 gallon 25" tall seahorse tank. Right now I have an Aquac remora running. I want to upgrade it. Looking at the Aquamaxx hob1. Anyone have any suggestions? No sump and no ability to place one anytime soon. Therefore it has to be hang on back. Thanks

Having owned the remora and the Sro cone HOB skimmer. Hands down the aqua max hob1 is the best. I have been so happy with that skimmer. Up and running maybe 6 months now.

You'll be happy with it. It's a little loud for the first week or so but then it quiets down a lot.

Been running several days now. No issues with noise at all. Makes much darker skimmate than I was getting.
