Tanked Season 2 Reviews ? + new show info

Well i watched the new episode of tanked and i got to say they seamed to of heard all the bad talk of them and corrected some things on the show. They talked about acclimating and what was best for the fish more, that they load up a new system with real sea water and not from the tap. Just seamed to me they really tried harder to inform us on how they were doing some of the things they do. What do yall think ??

show is on saturdays on animal planet for those who havent seen it.

ALSO a new show called Fish Tank Kings Premieres Saturday, May 12, at 10PM ET/PT on Nat Geo WILD

Just saw the show for the first time today. I enjoyed it. Do they mention how they put a full reef into a brand new system and keep it all alive. I know it can be done by using a ton of additives and filtration, but they don't show it and I would bet the average watcher thinks this is the norm. Neat premise though, can't wait to see the price of fish go through the roof like after Finding Nemo.

I havent seen the new episodes but really I wasnt impressed with the first season. I mean who builds a reef from an old telephone booth and expected to thrive...IMO!!

Exactly, they are still going to build tanks out of stupid things, but in the new episode they build one out of a fridge and did it fresh water cuz they explained why it would work better that way, and then they did an 18 foot racetrack shark tank instead of an 8ft rectangular one because it would be better for the fish. Im telling you they heard us. LOL.

The tanks are nice but the the rest of the show is not very good. I would like to see more of the build and less of their crap stories. They also make seem like you can get a tank, fill it with water from a hose, throw in some chemicals and add as many fish as you like. If only it was that easy.

man i really enjoy sat nights. or at the very least i record the shows anyways, i think there should be less smack talked about these shows. and be lucky we have 2 hour long shows dedicated to our hobby. This weekeds episodes featured tanked doing a 35foot long aquarium, and a jellyfish tank inside an icebar. and Fishtank kings did a massive cylinder tank and also went deep sea diving to collect rare fish. I enjoyed both.

I know the show is a little out there, but weird, fancy aquariums is the only thing that is going to get non aquarists to actually watch the show. If anything, it promotes the hobby and in my opinion that is great. I actually really enjoy the show, I like the characters, and it inspired me after some time out of the hobby to get back in with a big 300g tank. Then again, I have been watch LAFishguy on youtube for years now.

I think people are starting to understand tanked is a pretty good show, i know i am. the last fish tank kings really ****ed me off. first they try and convince a guy who wants a 600g reef tank that he should get an artificial reef. then they do convince alonzo morning who just wanted freaking nemo, to go with a freshwater tank because nemo would need corals to thrive. on top of it all they crap on their fish expert thruout the whole show !!!! i mean really ***

I enjoy more tanks, although i think it's to early to be doing a "favorite tank episode" and a "episode of difficult tanks they made" when it only season 2. Ditto on fish tank kings, they need some fun drama like tanks.
