Show me your best!!!
Well I started a new project!!!! A 40 gallon breeder, it is almost ready for some corals, I was thinking of a Mostly dominated zoanthid and paly tank with some sps.. My lighting consists of t5 ho's... My mission is to find the coolest, brightest and most colorful zoanthids I can...
I started this thread so that all of you reef nuts could help me Please post a picture of your favorite zoanthid or paly, the only rule is it has to be in your tank right now, and the picture has to be yours!!! This should be fun for all, thankyou Richard |

OK, I'll play....
Right now.... Green Implosions! I love to watch these at feeding time especially. The react so fast closing up on anything that touches them like a Venus Fly-Trap. Five min later they're open again. Plus they really pop under Actinic....(These are kept under PC 35W x2) 1st shot is Actinic after I got them. 2nd shot is with the growth of 3-4 months.

I disagree I have a few friends who have T5 ho's, and their acros grow at a pretty good rate, and the color is amazing.... Take a look a Sunnyx tank build thread, he uses t-5s and his tank is crazy awesome...
anyways, this thread was intended for Zoanthid and paly pics, not a lighting disscussion.. |
