Brining phosphates up

Hey guy, so quick question. How can I bring my phosphates up from 0? They went from 0.06 to just 0 and my sps aré looking dull! I’m not running a gfo only have a refugium with cheato. I feed twice a day of frozen and it’s still not coming up. Thanks in advance

Do you have any algae growth? And how fast is cheato growing?

If it is consuming the P, you can reduce the photoperiod in the fuge.

Cheato is growing but no rapid, I removed some as well and shut the light off for a day see if that helped. I’m also starting to get a lot of hair algae

If there is HA, there is more than enough phosphate for the corals. If you try to increase it more or feed more, HA will likely take over the tank.

Try to get rind of HA before trying to raise phosphates.

So should I feed less? Why do my corals look almost like dried out as they where doing great now they hardly have any pe and color is growing out

What is your nitrate and alkalinity levels? It might be easier to archive a low N, P and Alk system compared to rising P and keeping HA away. For example I keep my alk at 7.3dKH, P is mostly zero with Hanna Checker and N is around 0.5ppm.

Right now, if you add more P, it will just cause HA to grow more. It is the reason why your P is at 0, all P you add is being taken up by the HA.

I’d figured that. My nitrates are at 5 my alk is at 8.9 from 8.4 been trying to get them down slowly to 8.0 but not having any luck they just stay at 8.9
