Fluval PS2 Protein Skimmer pump

I just had my PS2 skimmer pump stop working. It looks like the pump heated up and warped the inside wall where the propeller goes into.

Does anyone know of a cheap replacement for this skimmer? Or a workaround?

I have the Fluval skimmer too but if I knew this skimmer knockoff was out there I would have chose it. The replacement pump for the skimmer is about the same.
