Question on overflow
I am in the initial planning stages of my 40B build. I was looking at different overflows and ran across this and said "What the Heck".
Anybody ever used this product? Know anyone who has? Maybe, just like to through out a random opinion? Thanks for any and all feedback.

I think it would work great. It's a matter of how much noise you are willing to put up with. If you kept the flow to the sump relatively low it shouldn't be too bad.

kind of my thoughts as well. Maybe e-mail the company and ask what their flow range is. I know 1-1/2 can handle a lot of water but it gets noisy. Once you have their flow range I would go with the lower number for my sump flow rate.
