The next big step is taken!
I just placed an order for a custom 48x30x24 150 gallon tank from Miracles with three sides StarFire glass. Will be delivered in 6 to 8 weeks. I'm so excited!

Nice tank. Very well done.
My son has a rose bubble tip in his cube. I thought it was doing pretty bad over the course of a couple days. Low and behold it split. Pretty neat deal for something like that to happen in a small space (29 gallon BioCube). Anyway, thought about moving it downstairs to my cube but decided not to. Oddly enough his two rose bubble tips are slowly taking over the tank with the original spreading over 12" now when he is letting me know he is hungry. The new fella is about 6" already. The new guy stayed close to the original so they take up almost the whole tank... Upgrade time I'm thinking...

Time for a short update. Tank is humming along in my office. I just do the necessary maintenance on it now since I am waiting for the new tank. The office is a small room and I have noticed that it is harder to keep the temperature down (chiller having a hard time keeping up if the room is hot). Since the RBTA split I have also seen my nitrates raising. Will do more frequent water changes to alleviate the issue. Hopefully I can keep everything alive until the new tank is ready for livestock sometime in June (the earliest).
Figured I would include the latest FTS as well as a few other random shots. ![]() ![]() ![]() My Strawberry Shortcake that from time to time have crazy PE (ate least I am hoping it is PE and not something else. ![]() Same goes for my ORA Joe (lost some color after the tank move) ![]() My Dendro. These guys seems to thrive but have not got any new heads yet. :-( ![]() Finally some photos of my latest addition, the Carpenter's Wrasse ![]() ![]() ![]()
