Best way affix/hide A/C Adapters
Practically every piece of equipment we use in this hobby is powered via a large bulky A/C Adapters. If you’re like me you probably have 7-8+ between pumps, lights, and other controller equipment.
I’m a total nut with cable management, but in my newest build I’m at a loss for how best to either mount or hide these adapters in my cabinet. Anyone have any pictures/examples of what they did to manage these? |

I built a simple rack on the wall seperating the sump from the electrical portion that fits my largest to smallest power adapters

In all seriousness, I know how to use Google and have seen plenty of “clean” setups. I’d like some tips specifically at hiding the AC Adapters themselves. If you’re limited on space in a cabinet-setup, then even better. Be helpful, no one like the condescending person in the room. @Ted_C- thanks for the picture! I’m not so lucky with space as you are. Currently setting up a RedSea425XL, and I love it but again there’s only so much space to hide cables in the cabinet and I need to get creative. |

Covering up/enclosing/grouping,etc.. the adapters themselves inside the cabinet is NOT a good idea.. They need to dissipate heat.. Enclosing them will shorten the lifespan and even possibly cause a fire.. It would also be helpful if you specified if you are having OCD over direct pluggable (wallwarts) or the "brick" types as treatment/solutions of each may differ..
