will a chocolate tang and a purple tang get along?
I thought this was safe, but the purple tang which has been in the tank for 3 months now, is agressive towards the chocolate tang.

doesn't it usually depend on tank size? tangs are territorial.

what gen/sp. is a chocolate tang?
also, give it a few days and they should figure things out, assuming this is in your 90 gal reef |

Is this in your 90? Purple tang can be/are very aggressive, and adding another tang to a small tank ( for two tangs ) is going to enhance that aggression.
