So what kind of soft coral has polyops that retract fast ?
I was at a guys house and he had a soft coral that would retract its polops fast and they would come back out just about as fast.
SO whta kind do you think it was?? Looked like a type of colt ?? |

I'm sorry, but that's just not enough to go on to hazard a guess. Lots of softies can do the quick open/quick close routine so it's not really a defining characteristic. Can you describe the coral in more detail?

Hello,
xenia do not retract... sounds like some stolonifera kind, most probably Briareum sp. (formerly known as Clavularia viridis) regards Markus
