Favia ate a bristle worm?
It was hanging out of a polyp after I fed the favia some fish eggs. Just wanted some reinforcement that my observation was more or less probable.
Thanks |

IMHO, a strong possibility is that the bristle worm was plundering the gut sac of the favia polyp for the eggs it just ingested. I bet it ate them all and then went on its merry way.

I had a Duncan eat a bristle worm. Ate half of it, spit out the rest on my bubble and killed the bubble!

I've had an Acan eat a zoa eating Nudibranch, I was removing it with a chopstick and it feel off and landed in the Acan. It swallowed it up real fast.

I find it hard to believe but anything is possible. I agree it is more likely that the bristleworm was raiding the favia. I see my worms and shrimp doing this all the time.
