Hello
Have you sent email to service as I asked? It's hard for me diagnosing that problem, best way is direct contact with service. Since 7 years I never heard about similar issue so I can't help - but service have enough knowledge and experience for advanced ed troubleshooting. Thank you for understanding. Regards Przemek |

So I'm running in Acclimatization mode for a few days now.
During day time the LCD display shows how many days are left until program end. Now 2 days ago is said 40 days left. Yesterday - same thing - 40 days left. And today it says 41 days left? Has anyone else seen this behavior before? Not sure how to proceed from here... |

@Przemek_PacSun, I got my lights coming on at 11.00 european time and off at 23.(LED) With 120 minutes sunrise/sundown in each end. t5 lights come on differently at around 13 and 14 ish. And goes off around at 21.00.
If I wanna switch to the BALI program, how do I set it to skip the built in time and use my own ? |

Hi Fellow Reefers and @Przemek_PacSun,
So excited, just got a new Pandora S2 unit, 3X75W with 8X54W T5. Looking for some input from anyone have used this unit on bulb combinations. My tank is mixed reef, 48x24x20. have few ATI bulbs already and prefer to use ATI. Since the LED already has lots of UV and Red spectrum, I was thinking no need to add any Purple Plus and True Actinic. My plan is to run Bali with all colors on %100. Appreciate any input on Bulb combo as well as T5 scheduling. Thanks |

I run 3 blue plus and 1 coral plus. Bali program with red and amber turned down and my lamp power is at 40% I don't like the take to glow all day (like under the actinic) so I went with that T5's combo to get a not natural look. I still get the day-glow look in the morning and for an hour at night.... that's plenty for me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hi
Sorry, I forgot about that My best combo setup with Pandora Hyperion S(or S2) are(from front to back): Crystal Blue(or other Blue - like ATI Blue plus) Spectra+(or Coral+ - is similar) Crystal Blue Pigment INT+(its not so pink like Fiji Purple or Purple Plus) - more natural LED LED Crystal Blue Spectra+ Crystal Blue Crystal Blue I suggest setting RED on 50-60% - not more and overall daylight time no longer than 10-11h total. Very often mistake made by Customers is extending daylight time(they want to observe tank before work in the morning and in the evening - so sometimes lamps work 13-14h or longer). Thats simply way to asking for troubles - too much light /to much energy during the day can be reason of photo inhibition/photo saturation issue. LED panels - 9-10h total including sunrise/sunset time. Hope that will help ;-) Regards Przemek |

Thanks Przemek - this is quite useful.
I have to ask - you're suggesting T5 light time that is longer than the LED light time (10-11 vs 9-10h). That means that T5's are on during (at list part of) sunrise/sunset. Don't you lose the whole effect of sunrise/sunset with such set-up? |

How do you suggest to schedule T5 pairs with this? Assuming I will be running Bali, I can only adjust start time and rest of sunrise/mid day/sunset timing are preset. Should I run Pair 1 T5 for 12 Hrs, Pair 2 for 8 Hrs, Pair 3 for 6 Hrs and Pair 4 for 4 Hrs or something similar? |

I've finally made changes to my lighting schedule after reading this and ecotech's case study on lighting schedules and some notes in this thread.
http://ecotechmarine.com/wp-content/...ralLab_WP1.pdf For the longest time - I have been running the bali par table - which is 12 1/2 hours long ( 8 AM to 20:30 PM). I've been having troubles with RTN in my SPS corals that are probably due to more than just my lighting - but the lighting could be an additional stresser that needs to be adjusted. I now have a 10 hour total photoperiod. Sunrise start at 8:30 for 90 minutes. 7 hours of total max intensity (total lamp power at 40%). Sunset starts at 17:30 PM with a 90 minute duration lights off by 19:00. All channels are at 100% except red, amber and green at 24% T5's come on at 11:30 AM to 15:30 PM. I run only crystal blues and spectra + as outlined above. I didn't run the pigment plus Time will tell how this affects my new frags.
