I had one for approximately 3 years. It came to me at about 3/4" long, so it was very small, and died at around 4" just this summer.
It was really pretty docile, and almost seemed oblivious that there were any other fish in the tank. I never had a problem with it trying to jump. It finally died because I introduced a fish without quarantining, and it turned out to have flukes and then developed ich. A combination of the two is what ended up killing my wrasse. Great wrasse. I've missed it dearly since it died. It'd eat anything that I introduced in to the tank.
