A "Y" would be better. I dont see the need to split the pipe into the sump.

The sump has 2 holes
I might just do one and be able to put some of the return water in it if ever need be to recirculate and just stick with one going to sump |

Ditto on utility of the Y. If there are 2 holes in the sump for drain pipes, then I would have 2 drains. One full siphon and one open pipe. What are you doing for an overflow?

neither, there is no reason to split your drain line like that.
If you have a second drain line, sure use the hole but all youre doing splitting it is creating a clog point. |
