Tunzee ATO issues

Hello,
Anyone have any issues like this?
Brand new, just set up last night, today got a call from wife about beeping noise under tank.
pump had pumped about 3/4 of fresh water reservoir into sump.
high water float shut it off. I took water out and pump started refilling until the float shut it off again...went right over the optic leveler.... no flood, thank god! but never heard of this on this ATO, only hear how good it is.
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!!

I believe the problem is this.....the tube coming off the pump into your sump has to be higher then the water level in your sump or it will create a siphon and drain the ATO reservoir. I had the same issue. My sump area is ver small and I was unable to find a place to raise the tube high enough in my sump to make it higher so I have the tubing from pump filling into the overflow of my tank and it's worked perfectly since

Rik,
I thought about that, but the "pump on" light is lighting up on the controller...kind of strange, I tested it last night and it worked fine...
when I ran home from work to fix it, it seemed like the optic controller was not registering the water level and kept turning on and off the pump.
the line from the pump is above the water line and the level of water in the ATO reservoir is below the water level in the sump...not really sure what is up.
thank you for your help!

The optic sensor sometimes needs to be cleaned when first installed and additionally if there is a water bubble on the sensor it could make it improperly function. If you post this as well on the Tunze forum Roger will get to the bottom of it. The guy can troubleshoot like no other. Between this forum and the Tunze forum you should get an answer quickly.

No bubbles near the optical sensor and if your storage container is higher than your sump water level it will siphon as Rick said. Run the water into the top of your tank will fix the problem.

Thanks Rik & Scott,
I did a wash of the optic sensor, lets hope that helps or fixes it.
So far its working, let's hope it continues to work.
Thanks again for the advice, I appreciate it.

Great news. This ATO is a great product once you get it figured out.

Looks like we are in business, but I would like to see or hear how you are running your line from the ATO pump into your overflow.
Are you using a check valve? Are you using the clamp that came with ATO to secure the tubing?
I think I would like to change mine so I can fill more of the ATO reservoir.
Thanks!
