Vortech Controller Mount?

I'm looking for ways to mount my Vortech controllers. If anyone has any ideas or photos of their mounts, I'd love to see them.
Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matt,

This is what I came up with last week.

Thanks,
Randy

Same here, I just use velcro.
Don't the Vortechs come with velcro? It's been so long but I thought they did.

I had a controller take a swim because the adhesive on the Velcro let go. As an engineer I feel there should be a screw hole or keyhole slot but what do I know, I just design rockets for a living.

Here is my solution original.

The wire tie goes through a mounting pad screwed into the stand.

I have since changed out the metal piece with two long shelf pegs I found at the hardware store.

As an engineer I agree. The velcro is not a good solution. A key hole slot would be great.

I haven't had the velcro ever let go on me.
You can also buy more industrial strength stuff, or 3M automotive double stick tape.
And avoid hanging directly over open water.

This should be rule #1.

Mine are secures to the stand door using velcro. So far, so good. Haven't had to break out the heavier duty velcro.

I velcroed the power supply for my Vortech to the wall as well but it did not hold. I'm thinking too much humidity (above tank). Luckily I had a screen over my tank that kept it from falling in!

I use the velcro. Not a problem, yet. Key hole hangers would be great.

I had Velcro fail already. Key hole or screw mount holes would be simple and appreciated. They should have made that change on the quiet drives.
