x2 the Asian food area. Make sure you get the non-toasted, plain nori.

also, Nori is what got my lawn mower blenny to switch from starving to being willing to eat flake food. He'd break off nori and it would float in the water column. Then I noticed just the last two weeks that When I feed flake he started skimming the surface of the water for flake food. It looked like nori, and evidently tastes close enough that he's eating flake now.
For 2 to 3 months he would only eat algae off the glass and looked really really thin. Now he's forming a pudge of a belly and getting fat. Thanks to nori sheets, my blenny is finally getting fat and happy. |

My local Walmart has a supermarket section and sells the green nori in the asian food section. I think it's actually part of the pasta aisle. My lawnmower eats the stuff like candy.

I use the roasted kind every day and haven't had any problems with it. The idea that the cooking process might add contaminates to the nori bothers me a bit, but if its just baked or sun dried I don't think that would do anything to it. If it said smoked, then maybe there would be an issue of contaminates from the soot in the smoke.

If you're an eagles fan in philly, there is a cool Asian grocery store on S. 6th and Federal that has a multitude of stuff for your tank.
