Bubbles on the surface?
Getting some bubbles on the surface of my tank the last few days that I have not seen before. Anyone know what might be causing these? Recent changes include adding a skimmer last week, moving the tank about a month ago and adding some astrea snails + zoa frags.
Skimming seems like the obvious answer because that's a foam process but its not throwing bubbles into the tank so far as I can see.

The Reef tank or FOWLR tank always had water current flow 24/24, I don't know why the bubble in your tank can stay in one spot?

This is a pic of the DT right?
If so you need more surface agitation. You can try directing the surface flow toward the overflow.

Yes this happening on each side of my DT. New flow pattern recently - went from a traditional pump on the side wall to a gyre on the back. I'll trying aiming my returns differently thanks
