Gaping question
My derasa clam all of the sudden today has withdrew its mantle and appears to be gaping. I have had this clam for 1 1/2 to 2 years and it has never behaved like this. I also have two maximas near it that are showing no signs of stress. I am attaching three pics, the derasa today, normally and the maximas. Will clams sometimes do this like anemones will sometimes deflate? Sorry for the blue lights, just switched internet companies and haven’t set my reeflink up to the new network to turn them off. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what happened, but it’s fine today. Maybe some pellet food made it inside and annoyed it.
