Expired Coral Dip?

I have some coral coming tomorrow from LA. Realized this morning that my bottle of Two Little Fishes ReVive coral cleaner expired in September and I can't get a delivery of any coral dip from Amazon until Friday.

Looks like I have two options. First, a Bayer dip - which makes me nervous. Second, use the expired ReVive - which also makes me nervous. Anyone know if expired is actually an issue?

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks!

Bayer works. Your expiration date is not a bomb. Your Revive is 95% effective.

I like a 10% solution of hydrogen peroxide and salt water for 10 minutes. Less time for sensitive corals. This solution will kill algae.

None of the above will kill Aptasia or ich cyst.

Thanks to both of you!

@Rock - Just paranoid, I guess.

Is this the correct stuff?

https://www.amazon.com/Bayer-Advance...te+insecticide

EDIT: What mix/ratio do people use? I saw a website that suggests 480 mL of Bayer per 2.5 gallons of water (or, 192 mL of Bayer per gallon). I also saw a December 2016 BRS tv which suggested 400 mL per 2.5 gallons (or 160 mL of Bayer per gallon). BRS suggested that ratio was on the high end of the amount of Bayer used.

I've also seen people talking about a 50/50 ratio and others that just add the Bayer until the water looks milky.

Thoughts? Thanks again!

I use expired coral dip all the time. I take expired medicine myself, so take my advice with an expired tab of advil.
