One of the nicest corals I have ever had

I got a similar coral a few months ago but I gave it to a friend and he named it the "Wolverine" but unfortunately he lost it, I got this new one that is exactly the same one, I am not too sure which type of acro is it but it is truly a beautiful coral. here is a picture hope you enjoy it.

Gasman did you dip it?
They are very tricky to keep alive I've had some do great for 6-7 months
And rtn over night
The ones pictured did best for me under t5s in a shallow tank instead of halides
With massive amounts of flow smallest colonies always did best
When my wife gets back from nc with my laptop I'll post some
Sick pics of my trails

Lol, You are right, I guess after a while you get use to your corals, there is nothing like a new coral to get back my attention as to how beautiful these animals are.

reminds me of a valida, but because it seems to have more of a tabling growth pattern than bushy growth pattern, so I don't think it is.

Nice Coral Rogger. Wish my purple corals were not fading as much, working on figuring it out.

Is this a similar piece, just much smaller? Picked it up at PBMAS Swap

You know Mike, I have similar issue as you. I have a purple acro (forgot the name) but it's slightly faded... I have to figure out what is the issue...

Awesome coral btw... I want it lol.

Hi Mike, that is not the same coral but it is certainly a nice find, as far as the Purple color of the corals, I always thought that iodine helped but I can't confirm that as I do not dose consistently but have no problems keeping the color purple intense.
