Does any one here have a blue boxfish
Just checking if anyone has a blueboxfish, succesfuly living in there tank and for how long? I had one for about 2 months before it died , I just could not find anything it would eat. So before I buy another one I wanted to see proof that it is possible, I already own a yellow box for 2 years now, I just cant figure out why they dont eat.

I don't think there are very many, if any people who have kept blue boxfish here. Its really hard to find any info on them. From what I have read, It seems like the hardest part of keeping them is getting them to eat. They are also get ich really easily. But I know at least some people have kept them successfully and got them to eat.
Did your boxfish ever get ich when you had it, or poison the tank?

This website has some info on boxfish and there are some people there who have kept them successfully. http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/C...ffers_andMore/
Do a search on blue boxfish or Ostracion meleagris, if you ask your question there, you might get more information.
