stepper motors are built for precision accuracy this is why they can be used for dosing less than 1ml. It has nothing to do with the voltage.

A stepper motor is like many motors in one box, it is not just one coil, it divides a full rotation into multiple steps so the shaft of the motor can be driven to move in tiny increments not just one turn.

I understand voltage has nothing to do with accuracy. The reason I ask is because the key point:

"- extremely accurate dosing with 24V stepper motors !!! "

was listed as one of the most important difference from version 1.

No as the SA comes with built in controller that you pay more for and would not use, so the slave takes away the cost for ProfiLux owners the control side that the computer does for you

expected launch is early 2015.

The price difference is not much between the two. I would go for the stand alone unit as you can sell it if u don't need it.

Does the stand alone unit have the ability to monitor pH or temp?
This may be useful when dripping kalk.

Any issues with wi-fi interference between say the doser and lights that are controlled via wi-fi?

Also, I noticed on Premium Aquatics it says out of stock so is there a section to pre-order?

When is the official release date if I order one?

Hi
No there would be no interference they all would have their own IP address.

The pre order is on now and first delivery is in 14 days but stock is going fast the demand is just crazy for this, I would contact them quickly and get your name down for one.

The pre order is in place because nobody globally has stock yet, so ALL RC sponsors will have them on pre order. The pre order is there so you can secure one in advance of release

So no dealer yet has them for sale off pre order as nobody has stock just yet, but they are coming very soon now

Once stock arrives all dealers will no longer have a pre order as they will have stock to sell right away

Motors two years, pump heads I think are a year as they are a serviceable item with wear and tear parts such as peri tubes. (peri tubes are a degenerative item)

it is advised with any doser to replace the peri tubes every year due to wear and tear.
