Clownfish pair Help!!!!!

Hey

I just got a pair of cheekspot Picasso Clownfish. As soon as I put them in the he display they went right into the Mag anemone. Great right 😔. Well the female has totally switched into beating up a he male chasing him and he has totally lost his color. I netted the female and let the male get some rest all was good. I put her back in and went right back to going after him. So I put them in my frag tank and they are paired up again. Has anyone had this issue I want them in the display not the frag tank. Any thoughts please help

In my experience, female clowns will protect an anemone even from a partner. Sometimes my female shares her BTA with her partner and sometimes he swims alone. I am sure others may have advice but she may chase him away for a while. You could try getting another one and putting it on the other side of the tank.

Just leave them be. Initially the female is sometimes over protective of the anemone.
It will sort itself out within a couple days.
