Acans mouth open good or bad?

Ok picked this frag up from my lfs and put it in my system after acclimating it. It's my first Acan its mouth was closed all day until I just looked now and they are open. I tested my parameters and everything is just perfect. Is it good or bad for the mouths to he open tentacles are also withdrawn?

Usually mouth opens at night for feeding. Had to tell from the picture if that is the case. If you can see tentacles with open mouth then it means, dinner time!

If it's open for an extended period of time...then I'd worry. Opening could mean feeding...or expelling waste.

That pic is horrible. lol But from what I can tell. It looks like the acan is retracted and maybe trying to spit out stuff, so the mouth is open.
