116 gallon build questions
I have recently purchased a 86 (uk) gallon display tank and a 30 (uk) gallon sump. However I would love someone to check over my equipment choices and fish choices.
I am planning on doing a mixed reef tank lps, sps, clams etc.. But I really want to be able to keep my three dream fish in the tank a purple tang, a orange tail emperor angel and a pair of snowflake clownfish. For equipment I have chosen the following: Protein skimmer - Deltec SC 1455 Wave maker - Tunze comline 6508 wave box OR maxspect gyre xf150 Fluidised reactor - BRS three stage reactor - 1x 5 micron filter 1x gfo chamber and 1x carbon chamber. Lighting - 2x kessil a360we tuna blue Return pump - jecod dc 6000 And for the sump I am thinking about using miracle mud, live rock rubble and macro algae. |

According to liveaquaria min tank size for the angel is 220, and 125 for the tang. I think the angel will also nip corals

Your equipment if good, but for a mixed reef the Emperor Angel will not work as it will eat your corals. The tank is fine for the Purple Tang and Clowns.
