A syringe filled with boiling water, especially when they are few in number (act quickly) is my weapon of choice. 100% effective 100% of the time

Kalk paste works.
Hot water
Syringe with lemon juice

In the end I just couldn't get them all so I bought a Matted File fish. Within a month they seem to be all gone, but I suspect if I got rid of the File Fish they would come back.
