Help Identify this parasite....
Hello everyone I was hoping you all could help tell me what this thing on my copperband butterfly is, it appears to be like a leach or something I couldn't find it anywhere here are the pics...

Sorry should have added its the small black thing on his side fin looks like it's hanging on to him not sure if manaual removal is preferred?

Picture isn't really clear enough but it could be a parasitic isopod. If it's that, your best bet may be to catch the fish and remove carefully it with tweezers.

I was able to remove manually looks like a tiny sea tick or mite flushed it
