Thanks for the links. I ordered the noroprene since the other requires a business license. I would be ok with ordering spectrapure stuff but I don't see it available anywhere anymore. I bought the unit used and there is no telling when the tubing was changed last.

I have always used Spectrapure for replacements since it lasts for a long time.
Buy directly. A Litremeter is a great piece of equipment many people still use.

There are quite a few doing constant water changes with the Litremeter.
It moves water 150 times a day & with the addition of an extra pump module is quite effective.

To do AWC with the Litremeter you will need a second pump head.

Often times extra fail-safes may be added to ensure one head doesn't pump faster than the other,etc...

1 thing you have to do with a Litremeter to make sure you get it right, is to calibrate the pump WITH all the tubing connected.

While tubing may be available elsewhere I can go 2 or more years with factory tubing.
Longevity & peace of mind is worth the $$$ for me.

I wish we could get just the tubing instead of the "kit" with a fitting & cable ties.

Ordered Norprene 3/16 ID - 5/16 OD directly from Amazon - 5 Feet for $24.10
The Tygon Pharmed listed below is still being sold only to business accounts with healthcare license. Would need to talk to a buddy at medical office to buy down the line but I think what I ordered should be plenty good. https://amzn.to/3J9vvCI I will dedicate a test pump to run 24/7 to see if it fails. I'm planning to mate it to 90-degree 1/4" RO tubing elbows via barb to stem connector on both the inlet and outlet. https://www.buckeyehydro.com/stem-x-barb-connector/ Last edited by BZOFIQ; 12/21/2021 at 03:04 PM. |

This site has every kind of tubing discussed here, cheaper than what I found on amazon.
https://ankoproducts.com/collections...ic-pump-tubing Just pick your tubing and click on choose options to pick a size. Per Spectrapure - use at your own risk, which I am going to. |
