Camel shrimp bait
My trusty LFS kindly recommended me a “reef safe” camel shrimp. It has demolished my corals over the last two weeks. I thought it was something I was doing wrong with regards to my water quality or the temp I had the tank set at. Been scratching my head and then woke up last night to see the camel shrimp sat on the corals. Decided to google “do camel shrimp eat coral” and was shocked to see that they are definatly not reef safe. I basically took my LFS advice with regards to care and didn’t even google any more information on them after my purchase.
I am going to try the old bottle trap trick tonight, is frozen prawn safe to use in my tank as a bait? Thanks |

yes. They are also cannibals---along with many other shrimp.
