Just ordered A3 from him on Friday for my 430 build. Did a lot of reading and yes everything included except the bottle.

Hi HKH4000. I am very happy with the Dastaco. It is the only piece of equipment I have that I would not consider replacing with another brand. If you are willing to spend the money, you will not regret it.

Curious if anyone has further feedback? I'm having thoughts of investing in these.

Question on this old thread. Do you runt the knobto your desired alk, and the reactor does the rest of the work for you? Or how does this all work.

You don’t set it to a specific alk but to a number on the dial. Test every 24 hours and adjust up or down until you hit your desired all level and it is stable. Similar to dialing in two part dosing. Once it’s stable, it will maintain that level until your alk consumption changes.

The number is c02? Sounds very simple. I have been looking into one of these and the Calcfeeder Pro or putting a masterflex pump on my geo.
I’m tired of the effluent clogging, then having to change the effluent stream as well as bubbles etc. I’ve actually looked briefly into dosing as well. Corey |

Its different from a masterflex/good regulator set up in that the high alk water delivery is not constant (the medium quality peristalstic pump runs intermittently depending on the level selected), and it is able to keep the ph in the chamber constant with the float valve that controls the CO2. The only downside I've found is the price.

So it maintains the alk in the chamber at a high number, then as needed it releases the water into the tank/sump. As opposed to a steady stream or drip that is traditionally used?

Can someone with the A2 model let me know the measurements. LxW. Unique is showing its 26” wide, but I don’t think that’s right.
And are both chambers attached to each other or can they be adjusted? I just want to make sure I have the room needed for these. |
