Got this at the LFS ID please

Picked this up the other day for cheap. It needs a little rehab but I'm not sure what it is. I figured it was a chalice but a few people have suggested it's an acan echinata. Help please

That is definitely an echinata. I would cut the dead skeleton around it to allow for new growth and frag those outer small eyes. Congrats on a good deal!

^ looks good def Acan Echinata. I wouldn't worry about cutting anything it will grow over any dead areas and it looks perfectly happy as is.

Enjoy

Echinata. I don't recall ever owning one but I think I have heard they can be aggressive.

Echinata, as others have said. It doesnt appear to be necrotic so I would just leave it as is

They can be aggressive, so be careful what you put it next to/how close. Tentacles have some reach. Great coral!
