I did some minor changes in layout, some new frags arrived but no big changes.
That's how it looks after a year:

Water parameters are pretty the same of last months.

After some months fighting diatoms in sandbeb and a green slime algae coating the rocks I change my RO membrane and DI resin and cut down the frozen shrimp feeding.

Both, diatoms and green slime algae, showed a big step back, but didn't disappeared completely.
I think I need give them a month or two, but I'm in the right direction now.

I'm satisfied with the evolution too.
And now, I'm getting in the better part of the evolution.
No white rocks, no microscopical sticks, no 1mm/month sps growth rate.

The tanks looks more mature, the sps growth rate increases due to the size of corals.
I hope that the second year could be as fun as the first.
Regards.

Alex

Wow, I've never seen it with green tips before. That looks awesome! Is it really that pink in person?

It's a little more reddish.....but after been cutted in half it's in his "best moment".
Hope that it keeps colouring up.

Hi Alex,

Your latest video is a reef artist's visual statement. Congratulations on your successful progress. You should be really proud of what you have created over the past one year.

Best wishes

Bülent

Thanks Bullent.

Let's see what's 2018 will bring.
